Flour Share: Fall through Winter 2025 - Shipping

from $85.00

Flour Shares are subscriptions for freshly stone-milled, whole wheat flour.  These flavorful heirloom varieties are grown and milled by Farmer Mai in Sebastopol, California. Share members receive three pounds of flour each month for four months--a total of 12 lbs for the season.

Choose from four heritage varieties: Sonora Wheat, first grown in Mexico in the 1600s, is one of the oldest wheats in North America, prized for its soft texture and buttery, nutty sweetness. Rouge de Bordeaux, a 19th-century French wheat beloved by artisan bakers, offers deep wheaty richness with notes of cocoa and spice. Abruzzi Rye, brought from Italy’s Abruzzo region to the American South in the late 1800s, is earthy and robust with a subtle spiced finish. Marquis Wheat, a Canadian landrace from the early 20th century, combines hardiness with a balanced, nutty flavor and exceptional baking qualities. Or, opt for the Heirloom Sampler to try each variety, or Red Sampler to try each hard red wheat.
